Dr Brian Higgins founded Galway Skin Clinic to meet the growing demand for expert dermatological care and advanced aesthetic treatments in the West of Ireland and beyond. With over 14 years’ experience, he provides personalised, evidence-based care for concerns such as acne and rosacea. He specialises in medical consultations and injectable treatments for facial and body rejuvenation, with a focus on improving skin health, confidence and overall wellbeing.

With a background in Critical Care and General Practice, Maria brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and expertise to the team at Galway Skin Clinic. Working in medical aesthetics since 2018, she specialises in advanced injectable treatments, CO2 laser resurfacing, PRP hair restoration and advanced laser treatments. Maria takes an evidence-based, patient-focused approach, creating personalised treatment plans to achieve natural-looking results. She is passionate about helping every patient feel informed, confident and their skin.

Jane joined Galway Skin Clinic as a Skin and Laser Therapist in 2025 and brings with her a wealth of qualifications, knowledge and skill. She is skilled in advanced skin treatments such as chemical peels, microneedling and hair restoration treatments. Jane also specialises in laser treatments – specifically the Excel V+ - and a range of tailored facials. Jane is the clinic's go-to for the ultimate facial experience!

Liene has a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise across skincare, laser and aesthetic treatments. As a qualified Skin and Laser Therapist, she has a genuine passion for aesthetic treatments and delivering exceptional standards of patient care. In her role as Clinical Manager at Galway Skin Clinic, Liene oversees the smooth running of the clinical environment while coordinating patient care and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. She works closely with both patients and the clinical team to ensure each patient feels informed, supported and confident in their care.With a warm, professional approach and a strong understanding of both the clinical and patient experience, Liene plays an integral role in ensuring every patient receives personalised, seamless and exceptional care at Galway Skin Clinic.

Lauren works closely with the entire team to ensure business and brand messaging is aligned, while always putting patient care and experience at the forefront of everything we do. Lauren has been working in the marketing industry for 11+ years' with experience working across many B2C and B2B companies.
